SUMMARY:Christmas Performance (evening)
DESCRIPTION:This year we are holding Christmas performances live again but\, due to the restraints of the building in terms\nof Covid distancing\, these will be quite different to normal. Each phase in school will present a short\nperformance outside their classrooms and parents will walk around the outside of the building watching\nthese. The events will finish with refreshments and stalls on the playground presented by the friends of Mill\nDam. The performance will start with EYFS children under the canopy of the EYFS building; it will then move to\nthe canopy outside Y1 for the KS1 performance; then to the classroom doors outside class 2 and 3 for the\nlower KS2 performance and to the doors outside class 4 and 5 for the upper KS2 performance. Parents will\nwalk around watching each performance in turn and will finish on the playground where the performing\nchildren will come to meet you. Obviously this is somewhat weather dependent but we intend to go ahead in\nall but the most extreme weather – please dress appropriately. There will be two performances one on\nWednesday\, 8\nth December starting at 5pm and one on Friday\, 10th December at 1.15pm. We expect that the\nperformances in total will take around 90 minutes. As these are outside the building there is no need for anyone to book a ticket but please limit attendance to two adults per family to avoid overcrowding in the\noutdoor areas. For the Wednesday evening performance children all need to return to school by 4.45\nwhichever class they are in. Children who are at after school club will just move from there to the\nperformance. \n
