A proud member of

Extra Curricular activities.

At Mill Dam School we offer our learners a range of extra curricular activities, these rotate on a half termly basis to provide wider experiences to all.

All clubs will be run and supervised by member of our teaching team and will run from 3-4pm.

We will be asking for a contribution of £1 per session towards resources and equipment.

Learners who are booked into After School Club will be able to attend extra-curricular activities at no additional cost and will be escorted to After School Club once the session has completed.

The extra-curricular activities we are offering are:

Monday Young Voices, Mrs Clewarth and Mrs Stevenson.

KS1/2 Football, Miss Norton and Mrs Hydez.

(Boys and girls welcome).

Home learning Club, Mrs Annable.

(A space and additional support for learners to complete any home learning tasks)

Tuesday No extracurricular activities.

Wednesday Hama Beads, Mrs Barrett and Miss Brooke

(Creating pictures and patterns using iron together beads)

Band, Mr Thompson, Mr West and Mrs Clewarth

(playing a wide range of instruments together, includes ukulele club)

Thursday Times Tables Rock Stars, Mrs Serdjukova.

(You will need your TTR login)

Friday STEM club, Mr West.

(Coding, Lego and robots. No gaming).

In order to allow us to plan and set up we are asking that places at extra-curricular clubs are booked in advance for a half term at a time through the school office and where possible payments for these periods are made through the online payment system. For example to attend STEM club for Autumn Term 1 would be a Six week commitment and a contribution of £6.

We look forward to seeing our learners engaging with these opportunities to widen their experiences.
